Markets - Change 24hr Source: CoinMarketCap.com MicroStrategy Leverages Bitcoin Holding to Buy Even More BTC MicroStrategy, the US-based enterprise software firm led by Bitcoin (BTC) bull Michael Saylor, has taken a bitcoin-secured loan of USD 250m from Silvergate Bank, with the company planning to use the money to buy even more BTC. The loan, issued as an interest-only term loan by Silvergate Bank is "secured by certain bitcoin held in MacroStrategy's collateral account," an announcement from the firm said. The announcement added that the company will use the loan "(i) to purchase bitcoins, (ii) to pay fees, interest, and expenses related to the loan transaction, or (iii) for MacroStrategy's or MicroStrategy's general corporate purposes." This time, he is stumping up a whopping USD 5m to co-fund a campaign – in conjunction with campaigners from Greenpeace and the Environmental Working Group to "buy ads in leading publications over the next month." Another Expensive NFT Gets Mistakenly Sold at Large Discount Bored Ape #835, an item in the popular NFT collection Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), has been sold for a fraction of the collection's floor price -- and the community is debating what may be behind it. On Tuesday morning (10:00 UTC) the floor price for BAYC sits at ETH 107 (USD 360,000). However, Bored Ape #835, which has a rarity score of 86.83, was sold for DAI 115 (USD 115), 99.9% below the collection's floor price. According to OpenSea data, the NFT's previous owner, who goes by the moniker "cchan," accepted the DAI 115 bid on Monday.
