Ethereum Outperforms, Bitcoin Eyes Key Upside Break, UNI Rallies Over 14%

Bitcoin price remained well above the USD 19,500 level. BTC started another increase above the USD 20,200 level. It is currently (04:00 UTC) trading above USD 20,500 and eyeing an upside break above USD 21,200.
Similarly, most major altcoins are moving higher. ETH rallied over 8% and cleared the USD 1,200 level. XRP is moving higher towards the USD 0.35 resistance zone. ADA might gain pace if it clears the USD 0.45 resistance zone.

Bitcoin and Ethereum Struggle Near Key Hurdles, XRP Failed the Latest Climb Attempt

Bitcoin price had started a recovery wave above the USD 20,000 resistance zone, before dropping below it. BTC even attempted a break above the USD 20,500 resistance but failed. It is currently (11:27 UTC) moving lower and might revisit USD 19,500.
Similarly, most major altcoins struggled to clear key hurdles. ETH topped near the USD 1,120 resistance. XRP failed to climb above the USD 0.335 resistance. ADA is consolidating near the USD 0.420 level.

Kazakhstan to Increase Bitcoin Mining Tax Rates from 2023

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has approved new tax rates for crypto miners – and tax bodies have been instructed to charge miners at a rate of up to USD 0.052 per kilowatt hour (kWh) as of January 1, 2023.
Currently, miners have to pay a flat rate of just over USD 0.002 per kWh consumed. But following a winter that was blighted by crypto mining-related power shortages, the government resolved to force bitcoin (BTC) and crypto miners to pay more. ...

Bitcoin Back Above USD 20K, Ethereum Recovers, MATIC Surges

After bitcoin price extended losses and traded below the USD 19,200 level yesterday, BTC remained supported near the USD 19,000 zone and managed to get back above USD 20,000. It is currently (04:17 UTC) trading near USD 20,200 and is up almost 4% in a day and still down less than 2% in a week.
Similarly, most major altcoins are also moving higher. ETH traded above the USD 1,080 resistance and tested USD 1,120. XRP is still consolidating near USD 0.32.

CEL Crashes as Celsius Enters New Chapter of Its Saga and It's Restructuring

After reportedly returning all of its debt to DeFi lending protocols, troubled crypto lender Celsius (CEL) said it has initiated voluntary Chapter 11 proceedings in the US in an attempt to stabilize its business. CEL dropped following the announcement.
